The Diversity Advocates

About Me

I worked in the Recruitment Industry for over 20 years, and working in the corporate world taught me how to conduct myself to fit in and be accepted and how I needed to come across to be heard.

I’m Kelvin Campbell, founder of The Diversity Advocates. For more than 20 years, I’ve worked across recruitment, talent strategy, and leadership development, helping organisations attract, develop, and retain diverse teams that drive performance and innovation.

Throughout my career, I’ve held senior recruitment and leadership roles with organisations such as  Amey Plc, Colas UK and Randstad CPE. At Amey, I was proud to be part of the team that won the HR Excellence Award for Best Diversity & Inclusion Strategy — recognition of the measurable impact that inclusive practices can deliver.

But for me, this work isn’t just professional — it’s personal. I’ve seen how workplaces can transform lives when inclusion is more than a buzzword. I’ve also seen the barriers people face when systems and cultures don’t reflect their diversity. Those experiences inspired me to create The Diversity Advocates: a consultancy dedicated to turning good intentions into meaningful action.

Today, I partner with organisations of all sizes to:

  • Build fair and inclusive recruitment processes
  • Develop confident, inclusive leaders
  • Strengthen employee engagement and retention
  • Deliver measurable cultural change that lasts

At the heart of my work is a simple belief:
Diversity unlocks potential. Equity creates safety, and  Inclusion creates belonging. Together, they drive success.

If you’re ready to build a workplace where everyone can thrive, I’d love to start that journey with you.
